4GE+1USB+1POTS+CATV Dual Band WiFi XPON ONU, has 4 x 10/100/1000Mbps auto adaptive Ethernet interfaces, Full/Half, RJ45 connector. It is intended for use as an HGU (Home Gateway Unit) in various FTTH setups. Data and video services are available through the carrier-class FTTH application.
The Dual Band WiFi XPON ONU, is built on proven and reliable XPON technology. When access to the EPON OLT and GPON OLT, it may automatically switch to EPON or GPON mode.
To fulfill the technical performance of GPON Standard of ITU-TG.984.X nad EPON Standard of China Telecom CTC3.0, the 4GE GPON EPON ONU implements high reliability, easy management, configuration flexibility, and strong quality of service assurances. The XPON ONU also supports Bosa on Board function.

Question1: Does ONU support transparent mode or trunk mode?
Answer: Usually ONU supports routing mode and bridge mode, trunk mode needs to be customized.
Question2: Can the dual band ONU’s CATV be managed by Huawei OLT?
Answer: Yes, Huawei OLT can control it. This ONU’s CATV can be remotely switched on and off by Huawei OLT. But it needs to be customized for you (pls inform us of this requirement when you place an order).
Question3: I have bought Baudcom GPON OLT equipment and the POTs ONU and I would like to know if the telephone port I can use whith PBX?
Answer: you need a SIP server for phone service. The SIP server will be installed on central site.
The ONU POTs can be connected to a general analog telephone. The ethernet port can be connected to the IP phone.

After installation, the CATV ONU can work with BDCOM OLT well, but we meet problem with Huawei OLT. After Baudcom engineer support, the problem resolved soon. The reason is our VLAN configuration uncorrect.
What chip brand is the catv 2.4G 5G onu made of? Can it be Broadcom chip?
The 4GE XPON ONU is made of Realtek chip. Broadcom only provide chips for OLT, Baudcom GPON/EPON OLT are made of by Broadcom chips.
I am using it for one month, till now it is working perfectly fine with no issue, will purchase one more later.
I had an old wireless router, and after it would disconnect a lot I needed to get another one. Great router for my hard wired network.
