High output power, integrated WDM functionality, and intelligent redundancy make this EDFA 16 port erbium Amplifier an ideal solution for CATV and 光纤到户 optical transmission networks. Designed with E-Y co-doped amplification technology, EDFA 16 port delivers reliable and stable optical signal amplification for large-scale metropolitan and medium-sized city deployments with high-density home coverage. The integrated WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) functionality enables multiple optical wavelengths to be combined and transmitted over a single fiber. This integration helps reduce the need for additional external WDM devices, simplifies network deployment, and makes more efficient use of existing fiber resources.

The amplifier supports optional single or dual optical inputs and features a built-in optical switch. Switching thresholds can be configured through the front panel or SNMP management interface, enabling automatic input switching and helping maintain stable optical signal transmission. With support for up to 16 output ports and integrated 1310/1490/1550nm WDM technology, EDFA 16 port is well-suited for modern fiber access networks based on EPON architecture.
