The Baudcom F-RF system is used in transmitting and distributing CATV RF signals through fiber-optic cable. The transmitter transfers the received RF signals (870 MHz) into optical signals. The optical signals can be distributed into multiple endpoints through a coupler, or can operate for over 20 miles through single mode fiber. The CATV optical receiver can be connected to 8 TV sets, which equals to a built-in CATV splitter and is cost-effective for projects.
