Description
Huawei MA5800 X7 NG OLT H901BPMB subrack, belonging to Huawei SmartAX MA5800 series OLT products. Include the MA5800-X17, MA5800-X15, MA5800-X7, and MA5800-X2 in Huawei FTTH solution.
Achieve maximum network uptime with a fully redundant architecture. The Huawei MA5800 X7 features redundant power supplies, redundant control units, and intelligent cooling systems. All of which are hot-swappable to minimize downtime. It also supports TypeB/TypeC dual-homing for remote disaster recovery backup.
The OLT Huawei MA5800 X7 features seven PON board slots and supports the mixed deployment of GPON, 10G PON (XG-PON/XGS-PON), and P2P 10GE/GE access modules within the same chassis. The X7’s value is also derived from being the “sweet spot” in the MA5800 portfolio. Delivering immense power in a compact, efficient form factor. The distributed architecture with local cache enables lightning-fast 4K/8K video zapping. By aggregating traffic from up to thousands of ONTs, MDUs, and campus switches, you simplify network architecture and reduce OPEX while future-proofing for NG-PON evolution. It delivers the video performance and reliability of a much larger chassis in a compact and efficient package, ensuring they can meet today’s demands while being fully prepared for tomorrow’s technologies. Perfect for home access, enterprise access, mobile backhaul, and Wi-Fi hotspot backhaul–all on one fiber network.
Huawei MA5800 X7 Feature
- It is positioned as the next-generation OLT for NG-PON.
- It is designed to help carriers build networks with larger bandwidths, higher speeds, and smarter connectivity to deliver better service experience
- Provides GPON, 10G PON (including XG-PON and XGS-PON), P2P 10GE/GE access
- Supports deployment on FTTH, FTTD, FTTB, and FTTC networks
- Fnctions as a large-capacity aggregation device on the network to aggregate the traffic from ONTs, MDUs, and campus switches, thereby simplifying the network architecture and reducing the OPEX
- Supports distributed cache for fast 4K/8K video start or channel zapping
- Supports the PON combo technology, and can work with the built-in WDM1r optical module to support smooth evolution from GPON to XG(S)-PON.
