    Dual fiber to single fiber converter is used to convert optical signals between dual fiber and single fiber systems in fiber optic network. In a traditional fiber communication system, generally the optical device with dual fiber ports which has two separate fibers—one for transmitting data (Tx) and the other for receiving data (Rx). Each fiber operates independently to carry signals in one direction. Currently, many fiber optic equipment has only the single fiber port, which called bidirectional (BiDi), a single fiber is used for bidirectional communication, two different wavelengths are used for transmitting and receiving data on the same fiber.
