Description
Baudcom 6000 series OTDR can used to test single-mode wavelengths of 1310nm, 1550nm, 1490nm, 1625nm and 1650nm, multi-mode wavelengths of 850nm and 1300nm as well as customized special wavelengths. It provides multiple optional modules, such as single wavelength, multi-wavelength and online test. With the maximum dynamic range of up to 50dB, the device can be used for remote multi-branch communication network test. It’s designed with a minimum event dead zone of 0.5m which makes the near connection easy to be supervised, and the lowest sampling resolution of 2.5cm which enables it to locate the event point accurately. Additionally, the device is also designed with multiple convenient functional options, such as stable light source, optical power meter, visible red light source and fiber end face inspection tester.
The OTDR is designed with an operating temperature and a storage temperature of -10℃~50℃ and -40℃~70℃ respectively to meet both EMC requirements as well as vibration and shock test requirements, a MTBF(θ0) of 6000h or above to ensure a high reliability, and a 75W built-in Li battery to ensure an endurance for continuous measurement in the wild field. The machine also supports IOLM function.

Q: Can your OTDR work in optical active links?
Answer: Yes, our Optical Time Domain Reflectometer OTDR can work in active links, for example, PON system. You choose the OTDR model with 1625nm or 1650nm wavelength will be ok, for example, BD6000-3102 (Single-mode 1310/1550/1625nm, 37/35/35), BD6000-3103 (Single-mode 1310/1550/1625nm, 45/43/43).
Q: ” The OTDR tester quality is very high indeed, which have stably worked more than 8 years. One question, can I get a backup battery for the OTDR?
You can order battery for OTDR, but the only battery can not be shipped. The battery must be shipped with machine. You can order one fiber splicer or OTDR with one battery.

During the test, if there is light in the optical fiber, our OTDR can detect it and issue an alarm,This function is a protection function

The 7-inch touchscreen is a real plus, providing useful space for reviewing traces and event details. IOLM support also makes link analysis more intuitive. Clear presentation matters on an OTDR, and the combination of a large display and helpful analysis features is particularly appealing.
Really love this Baudcom 6000 OTDR. The high dynamic range works amazingly well for long-distance fiber testing, giving me super accurate results every time out in the field.
I recommend this 6000 Series Optical Time Domain Reflectometer especially for beginners in the fiber splicing industry. This entry-level meter works excellently for fiber troubleshooting.
The design is very good and the range of measuring optical fiber is very accurate.
